Welcome to Yr Orsaf. A place to eat, stay, develop creative skills and contribute to the community.

Yr Orsaf is bustling with people getting together to socialise, stay and eat, taking part in creative workshops, developing skills and a lot more.

Yr Orsaf is located in the heart of Penygroes, Dyffryn Nantlle.

The old building was rescued by a group of volunteers in 2016 and a committee was established with the name Siop Griffiths Cyf. Our aim is to ensure that this historic building stays in the hands of the community, for the benefit of the community.

In the past this building was a busy inn before turning into an ironmongers shop with the name Siop Griffiths.

By now, Yr Orsaf is so much more than just a building. It's an important community hub in Dyffryn Nantlle which offers valuable opportunities for children, young people and adults and also provides work for the people who live here.

Among the services Yr Osaf offers are a Transport Plan, Food and Wellbeing Plans, Environmental and Nature Projects and the Community Hub. In every project Yr Orsaf commits to supporting individuals, community development, promoting well-being through the arts and engaging with nature.

The enterprise is going from strength to strength, and we now have a host of activities and events and some exciting plans for the future.
